In June of 1973, a group of teenagers was set loose into the world from Spring-ford High School to make their mark on the world. While many have left the Spring-ford area, we all have one thing in common – we are the SFHS Class of 1973.
This site is dedicated to our classmates, our teachers, our school staff, and their families. We are constantly striving to improve this site, so let us know what you would like to see and we’ll do our best to add it!
It is hard to believe that we just celebrated our 50th anniversary! 50 years since we last had high school homework, suited up for a game, tuned up our instruments, or headed to play practice. So what did we do? We celebrated in true SFHS73 fashion! We marched onto the Class of 2023 Commencement field behind our banner (the first class to bring their own banner!) and had prime seats to watch our own Mickey McDaniel give the key speech (and be honored on the SF Wall of Fame).
A couple of weeks later it was time to really kick up the celebrating! Starting with a warm-up Meet, Greet on Friday night, then golf (real or mini) on Saturday, and of course the Big Event on Saturday night! But that wasn't enough. We cooled down with a Sunday Brunch, then a few of us checked out our old art teacher Mr. Omrod's collection (and more) at the American Treasure Museum. A full weekend of fun, friends, and festivities! Then again, what do you expect from the SFHS73 gang? We have always been an amazing class! No… an amazing family. The family that is the SFHS Class of 1973!
Are you coming home for a visit?...
Let us know and we'll arrange a mini-reunion!
Let's get together!
