Where will it be held?
Our venue this year is Copperfield's (594 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468). You may not recognize the name, but we'll bet you remember the old name of the place... Lakeside! Yes, Lakeside grew up and we have a lovely room in which to mingle, dance, and just have fun!
What time is this thing?
We have the place from 5pm until 10pm. We plan to start at 5pm with a 'Meet and Greet' Happy Hour with butlered hors d'oeuvres. At 6pm, the buffet will start to come out.
Food... That sounds good. What are we having?
We wanted to be sure everyone had enough of whatever they wanted to eat, so we are going with a buffet. The exact dishes are still being determined, but everything on the list we were given looks delicious! We will be picking in hopes of covering everyone's palate and needs.
OK. So what about something to drink?
Standard non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. We will have a couple of bartenders tending a cash bar.
Fair enough. Are we just going to sit around and talk?
Well, this is an event to get together and catch up. But we also want to have some fun. Classmate Jim LaBombard is supplying us with a syndicated DJ! (Thanks, Jim L!) He will be spinning all kinds of tunes from our high school days. We'll also have an area for dancing. Oh... don't worry. He won't be playing so loud that we can't hear each other. We also will have some displays and other things planned. (We would love it if you can bring along some mementos... just let us know so that we make room for your stuff!)
Sounds great! So what about the bottom line? How much is this going to cost me?
Thanks to some anonymous donations and the committee's efforts, the price for the evening is only $60 per person! Similar events can easily run twice that amount, so we are very grateful to all of those who donated to help make sure as many of us as possible can attend!
Great! And thank you for watching out for our wallets! How can I get tickets and can I get them at the door?
Tickets for the party were sold online or via cash/check. Due to our headcount based contract, we WILL NOT be selling tickets for the party at the door. Your 'ticket' will be in the form of a name tag that you (and your 'plus one') will pick up at the door when you arrive. (Note: The Friday, Saturday 'day', and Sunday events are 'pay on your own' events.)
